Teeing Up A New Website and Booking System for Pro Shot Golf
It’s our great pleasure to introduce you to the website and online booking system for Milton Keynes-based virtual golf centre, Pro Shot Golf Club.
Offering a range of indoor golf experiences, via state-of-the-art simulator bays, Pro Shot Golf Club appointed the thinkBooker team to develop the new company website with an integrated booking system as the platform for their online presence. It enables customers to book a golf experience or a lesson with a PGA qualified professional direct from the site via desktop, mobile or tablet.
About Pro Shot Golf
Pro Shot Golf Club applies innovative technology to bring a new and a versatile way for golf enthusiasts of all levels to enjoy the sport; unhindered by the constraints of time and the British weather.
Located in the Stacey Bushes area of Milton Keynes, the club offers golfers the chance to book a high-tech simulator, based on available date and time, from which they can play a virtual round at more than 90 famous courses around the world.
Alternately, they can use the simulator to book a lesson with a qualified golf pro, allowing customers access to their personal golf data to help them monitor their progress and areas of their game to work on.
To complement the golf technology at the club, Pro Shot were keen to ensure that they could offer their clients a seamless and simple online experience for booking sessions for themselves and their guests.
Similarly, there was a desire to install, from the outset, a system that would help staff to manage bookings in as efficient a way as possible; allowing them to focus on the more productive tasks of business development, marketing and, crucially, customer service.
In addition to standard bookings, the core business model for Pro Shot Golf centres around building a membership to the club; with members receiving perks such as free and discounted sessions in accordance with the membership level to which they subscribe.
A key part of the thinkBooker project, therefore, was to allow the booking system to record membership details (and level) of each member, so that it has the intelligence to apply requisite discounts to the bookings and provide a membership database to help Pro Shot manage recurring payments.
A Company Website
In conjunction with the new system, thinkBooker have also developed a new company website, designed in the corporate image of the business and built upon the thinkCMS content management system, that allows Pro Shot Golf to manage the images and content on the site and regularly update their blog and news features.
