A New Room Booking System for Space2B at the Maltings

We’re delighted to announce the exciting news that we’ve been appointed to deliver a new room booking system for Space2B at the Maltings in Cardiff.

About Space2B

Housed within the historic Grade 2 listed Maltings building in the Splott area of Cardiff, Space2B provide flexible, state-of-the-art serviced offices and workspace to a range of tenants across different industry sectors.

These facilities include 5 meeting rooms that they make available booking by tenants and external companies; using the space for meetings or conferences.

The Booking Process

The existing booking process at the Maltings is a manual system where clients and tenants book via email, phone or the reception desk.

This will be replaced by the thinkBooker system, providing a modern and efficient booking process, in keeping with the modern working environment Space2B provide.  It will allow tenants and external clients the ability to view availability and book meeting rooms, quickly and easily, online 24/7.

It will also reduce the amount of manual admin work for the Maltings staff; reducing the calls, emails and enquiries received by the reception desk. In addition it will provide further time-savings by automating tasks such as the compiling of daily or weekly booking sheets, issuing confirmation emails and post-visit feedback surveys.

Fully-responsive for use on mobile and tablet devices as well as desktop PCs, the thinkBooker system will provide a calendar view of room availability, a quick and easy booking journey and will allow tenants and clients to order catering through Space2B at the Maltings’ in-house caterers.

The system will also provide management at the Maltings with the ability to quickly access real-time reports via a dashboard view and to produce monthly reports required by its finance team.

Tenant and Client Services

A secure payment gateway will let tenants and clients to pay online or to request an invoice to their account.

In addition they’ be able to access their own, secure ‘My Bookings’ area where they will be able to log in and view their booking history and future bookings, as well as accessing details of payments and invoices.
