Introducing the Space2B at the Maltings Booking System

The breadth of amazing clients with whom we work at thinkBooker is something that we always take great prude in. We’re delighted, therefore, to add the name of Space2B at the Maltings, to this ever-growing group, with the launch of a new online booking system for their meeting rooms.

Housed within the historic Grade 2 listed Maltings building in the Splott area of Cardiff, Space2B are one of the Welsh capital’s leading providers of flexible, state-of-the-art serviced offices and workspace.

Within the building, they also offer 5 high-quality meeting rooms that are available to be booked out by both tenants and external companies.

The new booking system has been introduced to replace the older, more manual booking process previously employed; whereby bookings were taken by email, phone or directly at the reception.

By introducing the new thinkBooker system, Space2B can now boast a modern and efficient booking process that aligns seamlessly with the modern working environment provided to their tenants and wider customer-base.  A room booking system that’s accessible online 24/7, via desktop or mobile devices, providing a quick and easy way for clients to search availability and make a booking.

The thinkBooker system provides a user-friendly view of room availability, a quick and easy booking journey with the ability to book and pay securely online by the hour, half-day or full day.

Improving Operational Efficiency for Space2B Staff

The new room booking software will also help Space2B improve its overall operational efficiency, reducing the amount of manual admin work for the staff at the Maltings; drastically cutting the amount of calls, enquiries and emails they previously had to handle.

These time-saving and efficiency improvements will be further enhanced through automating tasks such as the compiling of daily or weekly booking sheets, issuing confirmation emails and post-visit feedback surveys.

The system will also provide management at the Maltings with the ability to quickly access real-time reports via a dashboard view and to produce monthly reports required by its finance team.

Tenant and Client Services

Understanding the modern, flexible nuances of today’s business community, the introduction of the new booking system is a further measure deployed by Space2B to improve the service and customer experience it delivers to tenants and clients alike.

This includes, as part of the booking process, a secure payment gateway that allows tenants and clients a flexible payment process, allowing them to pay online or for account holders to request an invoice.

In addition, returning clients and account holders can access their own, secure ‘My Bookings’ area from where they can log in and view their booking history and future bookings, as well as accessing details of payments and invoices.
