New Booking System, Website And Brand for Dyfed Menswear
As thinkBooker continues to make its mark in the world of fashion and retail, we’re pleased to have been appointed by Dyfed Menswear, the leading name in men’s wedding and formal clothing in Wales, to develop a new online booking system.
The system comprises part of a larger digital project in which we will also be developing a new website and modernising the logo and brand identity of the renowned company.
About Dyfed Menswear
If you’ve had cause to rent a suit for a wedding or formal occasion within South Wales in the past thirty years, then chances are you will have had some contact with Dyfed Menswear. A name synonymous with sartorial style, the family-owned business has been preparing men for their ‘Big Days’ since opening their first shop in Cross Hands, near Llanelli, in 1985.
Today, they have five shops across South Wales and Bristol, specialising in formal wear hire for men, alongside the sale of suits and fashion accessories. For the past eight years, Dyfed Menswear have been crowned ‘Best Wedding Menswear’ at the National Wedding Awards in Wales.
Improving Customer Experience
As a forward-thinking business, Dyfed are keen to ensure that they are delivering the levels of customer experience that modern customers expect. This has included recent investment in private consultation rooms within their stores to allow grooms and their parties more privacy during their fitting sessions.
New Appointment Booking System
Integrated into the newly designed and developed website will be new appointment booking software. This will provide customers the facility to book a new fitting consultation at any of their five locations, with ease, directly from desktop, laptop, mobile or tablet device.
The convenience of such a system enhances the customer experience, providing a high-end online service that complements the service they receive in-store. Also, by using the system to capture essential pre-appointment information through the booking form, it provides the insight to deliver even greater personalised service at the appointment.
It’s a system that has already enjoyed success with luxury fashion powerhouse Farfetch.
Traditional Service in a Modern Brand Identity
Dyfed Menswear recognised the need to bring a new level of modernity both to their brand and to their online presence. However, this should not come at the compromise to the traditional level of service and high-quality formal wear for which the company has become renowned.
As well as standalone online booking sytems the thinkBooker team also delivers comprehensive design, user experience (UX), and complex digital development and integration expertise. This allows us to re-develop the website and brand identity, providing Dyfed with a fresh new look and feel to their business, while retaining that sense of refined style.
However, it also provides the platform from which to seamlessly deliver new technology solutions for Dyfed, to help drive their business forward. This includes:
- Online Booking System – for customer appointments
- E-commerce solution – allowing customers to purchase accessories online, such as cuff-links, ties, shirts, and shoes
- CRM Database – collating customer information to use for future insight, customer relations, and marketing campaigns
- Online Payments – allowing Dyfed Menswear to take deposit payments when exhibiting at wedding fayres
